Our Comprehensive Staffing Model

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)

Our DSPs provide direct, hands-on support in daily living activities, health and safety, personal care, and active community participation. DSPs are the cornerstone of our service delivery and are fully trained in accordance with DDA and COMAR 10.22 standards.

Required Core Competency Areas:

  • Person-Centered Planning & Individual Rights
  • Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid (AHA-certified)
  • MANDT Crisis Prevention and De-escalation
  • Bloodborne Pathogens & Universal Precautions
  • Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation Prevention
  • Community Integration & Inclusion
  • DDA Orientation & COMAR Compliance

Additional DDA Training Topics:

  • Aging and the Special Needs of the Elderly
  • HIPAA and Confidentiality Compliance
  • Seizure Disorders & Emergency Response
  • Dysphagia and Specialized Diets
  • Enhanced Documentation & ISP Implementation
  • Trauma-Informed Support Strategies

All DSPs participate in regular performance evaluations, in-service refreshers, and annual compliance updates to maintain excellence in service.

House Managers & Program Coordinators

BeMore’s residential, day, and personal support services are supervised by highly qualified House Managers and Program Coordinators who ensure operational integrity and individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily program operations and staff performance
  • Supervise implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Ensure service environments are safe, inclusive, and responsive
  • Coordinate appointments, transportation, and documentation
  • Liaise with families, case managers, clinical staff, and DDA offices
  • Monitor ongoing regulatory compliance and internal audits
Administrative & Clinical Oversight

Our leadership team guarantees high standards of care delivery and program integrity through ongoing oversight, strategic planning, and clinical consultation.

  • Executive Director: Provides organizational leadership, licensing compliance, executive-level supervision, and DDA engagement
  • Nursing Consultant (PRN/Contract): Supports health planning, medical oversight, and medication management in collaboration with residential teams
  • Human Resources & Training Department: Manages hiring, credential tracking, and professional development in accordance with DDA regulations and national best practices
